Niu Niu (Mural)

Niu Niu is inspired by the ancient Chinese philosophy of maintaining a balanced outlook in life. Replacing the traditional yin-yang symbol with the two oxen, Howie highlights the natural balance in an ecosystem as we ‘build back greener’ in the new year. The gaur, a type of wild cattle native to Southeast Asia, is endangered due to habitat loss caused by the clearing of forests. How should we lead our lives, so that all living things can benefit now and in the future?
